Jakop Ahlbom’s imaginative homage to the horror movie genre is ingenuously gruesome, genuinely scary and very funny. Referencing classic spine-chillers as well as more recent horror masterpieces like The Shining, Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist, Horror will have you shuddering at the edge of your seat. Horror now returns after critical acclaim when it was presented at the 2016 Mime Festival. Don’t miss his latest cinema-inspired new drama, a journey into fear and fun, with all the mystery, gore and logic-defying illusions you could wish for.

★★★★ "Clever, thoroughly entertaining and genuinely jump-out-of-your-seat moments" London Evening Standard

Online purchase of ticket easy and hassle free, access to the theatre easy to find the facilities were very nice 2 bars which helped as the theatre is was busy. The play was amazing excellent special effects and characters and story line was easy to follow and especially like the mixture of humour. Not to give to much away but some familiar well known horror scenes from known movies created on stage made the play that more good along with some excellent scenes and jaw dropping display of clever lighting and sound effects made the play well worth watching and easily up there with other theatre classic horror plays look forward to the next one !

Very repetitive. Started to get boring.

I found the tricks in the show to be very clever but I found some of the storyline pointless. Who were the four bald guys and what happened to them?

Well, where to start...? An innovative mix of dance, magic, contortion and illusion in a Grand Guignol hommage to the horror genre. The fact that there is no dialogue sort of frees you from overly following the story but does not detract. A panic moment crept in following a 2 pint Wetherspoon meal on seeing the No Interval sign but held on at under 90 minutes. Catch it while it's hot!

Great show! Illusions were excellent.

Be prepared for no talking and you won't be disappointed. Great horror moments with a tongue in cheek nod to lots of films you've seen.

I'm such a sucker for different forms of art that give me a bit of a mindf*ck. Much to my delight, 'Horror' did not disappoint! I enjoyed the effects and the acting so much last night when I went to see it with my mates. Defnitely recommendable!

Rebecca Crossman

Interesting use of set design with all the sneaky entrances and exits. Classic horror traits with ghosts, blood, walking backwards down stairs etc. Good choreography throughout the performance. Good acting and interesting that it was captivating although only one word was said throughout the whole piece. Didn't think the story line was very gripping although understand it wasn't a linear story and evidently had links to an underworld. Good, would recommend to friends but wouldn't watch it again.

This was so good! Bonkers, creepy and very clever. Would highly recommend.
